Joe and Krista's wedding day this past summer was as perfect as you can plan for. Their wedding (held on the shores of Lake Superior in Grand Marais, MI) was sunny and warm, and perfect for all their guests who came in to town to celebrate. The two themselves do not live in the Upper Peninsula, but wanted to have their wedding in Grand Marais, and I was so overjoyed the day started so perfect for them! Christmas Day in the Upper Peninsula is typically all things snow. And cold. And snow. Lots of it. This year is pretty much the opposite with above average temps and not a flake on the ground (see my previous personal blog post about our tree adventure!). So for a special Christmas adventure, we all piled in the car for a trek up to Lake Superior. One our most special and favorite places.
