Sometimes during an engagement session, you have a couple who are just perfect together. I mean, JUST PERFECT. That was the case with Casey and Del. These two know the hardships of a long-distance relationship, with much over their time spent with a literal ocean between them, so the time they do spend together is extra special...and I could see that in every aspect of their engagement session.
We had an amazing time wandering around Marquette, Michigan for their session! So many laughs, lots of cuddles, and the most perfect Northern Michigan summer evening. I was super excited to share some from this session, but waited till the couple "officially" became engaged...about a month or two after their photo shoot. So, instead of posting a ton on our facebook page, I'll just make a blog post about it, yay!
Haley and Sam's engagement session this spring was amazingly perfect in every way...the locations, the weather, the couple...oh this couple!! Right now it's the month of April. While the rest of the country is warm, and spring is blooming, we have school cancellations in some of the districts around us because of the snow. Seriously. So, on that snowy, cold note, I'm blogging Danielle and Cole's engagement session from February. It was a cold and snowy day then, too! Barely above freezing, and a fresh snow fall from the night before (with some still snow/blowing snow) it was a winter wonderland and made for an amazing backdrop.
This past summer, I had the honor of photographing Kory and Chelsea for their engagement session in Marquette, Michigan. It was a gorgeous day and we started off shooting at downtown Marquette and ending up down by Lake Superior. They are a beautiful couple, and their wedding day coming up later this year is going to be even more perfect than this gorgeous engagement.
